The Numinosity Approach
Most psychedelic support focuses on set, setting, and integration circles. Most approaches to shifting patterns focus on insight and understanding.
This work asks different questions:
Can your body hold it?
Can your parts trust it?
Can you actually live it?
Because you don't exist as an island. Real transformation requires working with your whole landscape—nervous system, relationships, history, the structures that shape you, the life you're actually living. Not from a template. From where you actually are.
What Informs This Work?
Nine bodies of knowledge, held in conversation - the intellectual and practical foundations of Numinosity.
Not abstract theory, but integrated with your lived experience to shape how your individual path unfolds.

The Numi Dimensions
Mapping The Terrain of Human Experience
A framework built on one animating enquiry: what dimensions constitute human experience, and how can attending to each support lasting change?
The answer isn't found in mind alone, or body alone, or story alone. Transformation moves across six dimensions of your being—from the deepest seat of awareness outward to the cultural and systemic world you inhabit.
This map ensures nothing essential gets left out. Whether you're preparing for a psychedelic journey, working with patterns that won't shift, or translating insight into embodied change—the work touches all five dimensions.
-
Reconnecting with who you are at your core, beneath the conditioning, the roles, and the stories, and opening to the something larger that becomes available when those fall away.
Preparation: Not spiritual instruction, but orientation. We explore your existing relationship with the transpersonal, in whatever language is yours, and build your capacity to sit in witness consciousness: to stay present to difficult internal states without collapsing into them. For women whose sense of self is organised relationally, a softening of the self can carry particular significance, so we make that territory legible in advance. The risk of spiritual bypassing, using the transcendent to avoid the embodied and relational work, is held honestly here.
Integration: The meaning that follows contact with something larger than ordinary identity, the felt sense of interconnection, of being witnessed. We work to find language for what resists it, and to relate it back to daily life without either dismissing or inflating it. The Luminous isn't a layer to transcend. It's the light the practice takes its name from, and when integrated, it makes the rest of the web more coherent.
-
Examining the beliefs, stories, and mental conditioning that shape how you interpret yourself and the world, including the roles absorbed from culture, family, and a world that rarely centred female experience, and beginning to see which were consciously chosen and which were simply inherited.
Preparation: Psychedelics have a particular tendency to surface these stories with startling clarity, so we map them first. The belief systems and identity structures you carry: gender role conditioning, narratives around worthiness, perfectionism, the cognitive weight of the mental load. Bringing them into conscious relationship before they are met with amplified force is much of the work. Intention setting lives here too, articulating not just what you hope for, but what you are genuinely willing to meet.
Integration: Afterwards, the mind's constructions need revisiting. New perspectives have arisen, but without tending, the old stories quietly reassert themselves, destabilised but not yet rewritten. Integration supports the reconstruction of narrative: understanding not just what you experienced, but what it means for how you see yourself and what you now believe is possible.
-
Understanding your hormonal cycle and life stage, and the interplay of your autonomic, immune and endocrine systems, which shift across the month and across a lifetime, and quietly shape how available you are to change.
Preparation: Through a PNIE lens, we attend to your autonomic, immune and endocrine systems as being in constant conversation rather than operating in isolation. Assessment considers hormonal baseline and cyclical phase, life stage, whether postpartum, perimenopausal or menopausal, and the environmental factors that shape hormonal balance, from nourishment to endocrine disrupting compounds to chronic stress. We offer evidence informed general guidance around nourishment, movement, sleep and stress regulation to support the body's readiness.
Integration: The Container keeps shaping things after the experience. The hormonal environment of the return matters as much as that of the journey. Integration supports the restoration of physiological ground: sleep, nourishment, regulatory practices, and an understanding of why the post experience period can bring both heightened openness and heightened vulnerability, and how to work with the body's natural recovery rather than against it.
-
Developing access to what you can actually feel and sense from within: your emotional range, your bodily awareness, and the pre verbal knowing that sits beneath thought. For many women, years of cultural scrutiny and an inherited disconnection from the body make this dimension particularly significant. This is where insight either lands, or quietly dissipates.
Preparation: Drawing on Embodied Processing and breathwork, we begin building your capacity to meet your own experience without collapsing into or fleeing from it: the somatic literacy that makes expanded states navigable rather than overwhelming. Body image and your relationship with the body are held here: how you inhabit yourself, what the body carries, and any patterns of disconnection that need attending to before you journey.
Integration: Insight lands in the mind. Change has to land here. What arose needs to be processed at the level of felt sense, not only narrated. Embodied Processing and breathwork support the body in metabolising what it has held, while somatic awareness practices build ongoing self attunement. This is where the translation from self realisation into sustainable change most concretely occurs, where knowing genuinely becomes living.
-
Attending to the attachment patterns and relational dynamics that this work will inevitably activate, including the relationally constructed sense of self that many women carry, and the weight of roles and responsibilities that shape how much space feels available to change.
Preparation: We map the full field of connection you inhabit: attachment history, relational patterns, caring responsibilities, and sense of belonging. Who holds you? Who knows you're journeying? A woman who defines herself largely through her roles and connections may find that questions of self arise in distinctly relational form, so we anticipate and resource that. We also attend to the practical architecture: how much you want to share and with whom, and what you'll need from those closest to you in the days that follow.
Integration: Transformation that doesn't reach the relational field often stays private, felt but not lived. Integration attends to how the experience has moved through your connections: what has shifted in how you show up, what you need, what you're no longer willing to carry. And the support relationship itself carries value. Being genuinely witnessed and held during the return isn't simply a vehicle for other work. For many women, it is part of the work.Item description
-
Anchoring what shifts internally into the rhythms, structures, and relationships of your actual life, while navigating the cultural messaging, structural conditions, and social realities that have shaped your experience as a woman, and that determine what change is possible, and what it asks of you.
Preparation: The practical and structural is held here: set, setting, logistics, safety planning, and what your immediate post experience environment looks like. So is the cultural and lineage layer: the patterns, roles and expectations passed down through the female line, and the way the larger systems you inhabit shape your sense of what's possible.
Integration: The truest test of transformation is whether it shows up in how you live when you wake up. Integration supports the embedding of insight into sustainable practice: what you do differently, what you let go of, what you build. It holds your relationship with nature, with creative life, with community, and with the broader structures you're part of and help shape. Who you're becoming ripples outward here, and the world, in turn, shapes who you're becoming.
This work meets you in your actual life
The map is the same for everyone. The territory never is. Your health history, your trauma — where it's been held in the body, how it's shaped your beliefs, how it lives in your nervous system and your relationships — your socioeconomic reality, your identity, the cultural and systemic waters you move through. All of it shapes how your process unfolds. This work doesn't sit above the complexity of your life; it begins there.
